Raphael Salles, an ex pro-winsurfer, is a pioneer in
the kite industry. He is the founder of F-One. He has spent 30 years of
his life on the water and in the foot straps. Raphael is responsible for
the R&D of the brand. Team rider’s feedbacks are an integral
part of the development process. It’s without question this center
role, supported by an entire team where skills are determining what makes
F-One a very reactive and a well-connected brand to the reality of the
sport and the needs of the everyday kitesurfer.

F-One is a 100% kitesurfing brand and is over 10 years
old now, being founded in 1996.

F-One is a mature brand and its presence worldwide
is now well established. F-One is a leader in the European market (France,
Spain, Holland, Germany and the UK), but also in Australia, New Zealand,
South Africa, South America and Brazil as well as the Caribbean. F-One
is among the top brands worldwide alongside North, Naish, Cabrinha, SlingShot.

In terms of philosophy, all F-One does is kiteboarding.
Passion is the driving force, not fashion. The brand started really early,
in 1996, at a time where not a lot people believed in the sport’s
potential. F-One HQ are 10mn away from the beach, near Montpellier, France;
and being on the water is the only way to make sure the brand and the
designers are connected to the needs of riders but also kite schools,
retailers and distributors
